Kimberly Chavalas Cripe, president and chief executive officer of Rady Children’s Health, was featured in the Orange County Business Journal’s (OCBJ) OC50 for 2026.
As noted by OCBJ, Ms. Cripe serves as CEO of one of the nation’s largest pediatric healthcare systems, Rady Children’s Health, following the merger of the parent companies of CHOC and Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego. The health system includes three hospitals and more than 13K employees and 2.4K medical staff. Expected to generate about $3B in revenue.
With CHOC since 1991, Ms. Cripe took the CEO position in 1997. The hospital in Orange has 386 licensed beds, and there’s also a 54-bed satellite facility in Mission Hospital.
