Another win for the hospital and our Environmental Sustainability Program!
Rady Children’s Health Orange County is honored to have received the 2026 Greenhealth Champion Award from Practice Greenhealth—the nation’s leading organization dedicated to environmental sustainability in healthcare—for the third year in a row!
The Greenhealth Champion Award celebrates healthcare facilities and systems championing the growth and development of their sustainability programs. This award recognizes hospitals for outstanding performance in environmental sustainability across multiple operational areas, including waste reduction, energy and water conservation, sustainable food sourcing, and environmentally preferred purchasing.
Achieving this award emphasizes the growing impact of our Environmental Sustainability Program as a result of our Green Teams that are driving meaningful change across the organization through projects focused on reducing waste, improving operational efficiencies, and reducing our carbon footprint. By incorporating these environmentally sustainable practices, we are striving to become a national leader in healthcare sustainability.
