34th annual fundraiser, presented by Disneyland® Resort, united the community on Aug. 2
ORANGE, Calif. (Aug. 3, 2026) — CHOC Walk in the Park, presented by Disneyland® Resort, raised a record-breaking $3.9 million for Rady Children’s Health, Orange County (Rady Children’s), formerly CHOC, during its 34th annual event Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026. The yearly fundraising event supports pediatric programs, specialty care, education, and research, helping to provide exceptional care to children regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
At sunrise, more than 7,000 walkers, organized into over 400 teams, followed an approximately 3-mile route through Disneyland® Park and Disney California Adventure® Park before the parks opened to the public. The morning brought together patients, families, community teams, businesses, schools, Disneyland® Resort cast members, and supporters for a celebration centered on hope, gratitude, and children’s health.

“The magic of CHOC Walk isn’t just in the parks—it’s in the compassion and generosity of the people who show up for children year after year,” said Kimberly Chavalas Cripe, president and CEO of Rady Children’s Health. “We are humbled by our community’s incredible support, which helps ensure thousands of children and families have access to the expert care and resources they need when they need them most.”

The 2026 event continued CHOC Walk’s more-than-three-decade tradition of uniting individuals, companies, schools, and community groups around pediatric health. Presented by Disneyland® Resort, the walk featured special entertainment and unexpected moments throughout both parks, creating a memorable setting while keeping the focus on the children and families served by Rady Children’s.
Although the 2026 walk has concluded, the work it supports continues year-round. Supporters can learn more about CHOC Walk, follow updates on upcoming events, and find additional ways to support Rady Children’s Health at chocwalk.org.
