With input from students, the room was designed to have a calming effect on increasingly anxious teenagers.
CalOptima Health partnered with the Orange County Department of Education and the Children’s Hospital of Orange County to bring the first ‘well-space’ to the Anaheim Unified School District as part of the Student Behavioral Health Incentive Program.
There are 54 ‘wells-spaces’ throughout the county.
