Dr. Anthony Chang, CHOC’s chief intelligence and innovation officer, was recently recognized for his outstanding contributions to medical innovation at a renowned event series.
The pediatric cardiologist received the Octane Medical Innovation Prize following his panel discussion at the Octane Medical Innovation Forum, held Oct. 8 and 9 in Irvine, Calif. The prize recognizes leaders who have significantly contributed to advancing medical knowledge. They are pioneers in transforming existing models to better serve changing needs and expectations in medical innovation.
Themed “The Seismic Shift in Healthcare: AI and Innovation,” the forum explored groundbreaking innovations and their impact on the future of medicine, improving patient outcomes, and tackling healthcare’s biggest challenges.
Dr. Chang, who is the founder of The Sharon Disney Lund Medical Intelligence, Information, Investigation, and Innovation Institute (Mi4) at CHOC, was among 30 speakers at the event.
