CHOC is thrilled to have been named to two lists of best hospitals by Newsweek, one recognizing hospitals’ excellence in specialized care and the other noting hospitals’ work in implementing medical technologies.
CHOC is one of 250 pediatric hospitals among the publication’s World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2025 list. The ranking was determined by a global survey in which tens of thousands of medical professionals were invited to give recommendations in their area of expertise. It also factors in accreditation data and patient-reported outcome measures.
Additionally, CHOC is one of 350 hospitals across 28 countries to be named to Newsweek’s World’s Best Smart Hospitals 2025 list. The rankings are determined by a global survey of healthcare professionals, as well as assessments of the facilities’ technology usage and Joint Commission International accreditations. The ranking also recognizes facilities that stand out in certain categories like telemedicine, artificial intelligence and robotics.
